Overview
The Compare tab lets you put products side by side to see exactly where they differ on technical specifications. This is useful when preparing bid responses, evaluating competitive positioning, or deciding which product to recommend for a specific tender.
How to compare products
- Open Products from the main sidebar.
- Click the Compare tab at the top of the page.
- In the left panel, check the boxes next to the products you want to compare (select 2 or more).
- The comparison matrix appears on the right, organized by specification category.
Reading the comparison matrix
Specifications are grouped into categories (e.g., Dimensions, Performance, Safety, Materials). Each row shows one spec parameter across all selected products:
- Matching values appear in normal text.
- Differences are highlighted so you can quickly spot where products diverge.
Use the Differences Only toggle to filter the matrix down to only the rows where products have different values. This is the fastest way to find competitive gaps.
Grouping and filtering
- Group by Name — Products appear in alphabetical order.
- Group by Product Line — Products are organized by their product line for category-level comparison.
Use the search bar to find specific products quickly.
Exporting
You can copy the comparison data to your clipboard for pasting into bid documents or presentations.
